Ease of navigation in a web browser

Starting with KeeneticOS 3.7, a new feature has been added that allows you to set a custom header for the web interface and browser tabs to improve navigation between multiple devices.

This can be useful when multiple tabs with web interfaces of different routers are open simultaneously in a web browser. With the default settings, the web interface page title in the browser tab does not include any distinctive features of the router model, which makes navigation tricky. For example, the browser has tabs open for the web interfaces of three different routers:

In the Ease of Navigation section (General System Settings page), you can configure the browser page name and the web interface title. You can select Model name, System name, System Description , KeenDNS name and Default Wi-Fi (SSID) name as the display parameter.

For example, if you select the Model name display option and enable Title prefix, the web interface tabs will be identified by the model names:

If you are using identical models, you can select KeenDNS name as the display parameter, and then the registered unique domain name of the device will be displayed in the web interface header and browser tab:
